Your discharge

Have you recovered enough to be discharged?

On the day of your discharge, you will receive your discharge summary at the ward corresponding to your care level. Your GP and the referring doctor will receive an electronic copy of the discharge summary.
The aim is to ensure continuity of care following your hospital stay and to prevent any gaps in the care chain. Networking with general practitioners, outpatient services and care facilities is essential in this regard.

Once you have received your discharge summary, you will be given your discharge certificate when you check out at the Zell am See site (next to the main entrance, Mon–Fri 07.30–16.00 / cash desk open until 15.30).

At the Mittersill site, you can collect your discharge certificate from (currently Building B, 2nd floor), Mon–Fri 07.30–16.00.

In both cases, you can also pay the statutory contribution/excess there and then, either in cash, by debit card or credit card. A relative can also do this for you. Please consult your GP after your hospital stay.

To help us continuously improve, we welcome your feedback. Simply use the form below to send us your feedback and experiences. We would be happy to contact you personally if you wish. Alternatively, you can complete and submit the anonymous questionnaire online on your bedside monitor, or fill it in on paper and place it in the designated boxes.

Patients A–Z: Discharge

On the day of your admission, you will be given the opportunity to sign the ‘Patient Consent Form for Data Protection’. By signing this consent form, your GP and the doctor who referred you will receive an electronic copy of your discharge summary. The discharge summary will be handed to you on the day of your discharge at the ward on your floor or sent to you later.

Your discharge includes a detailed discharge consultation and a medical report, which will be handed to you or sent to you later. Once you have received your medical report, please take your discharge form to the patient discharge office in the entrance area.

Mon–Thu: 7.30 am to 4.00 pm
Fri: 7.30 am to 3.30 pm

Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: at the base office on your floor. The final step in your discharge is a visit to your GP.

Your opinion matters to us! We would be grateful if you could spare a few minutes to complete our patient questionnaire. You can choose the online version by clicking ‘PLEASE RATE US!’ on your screen, or fill in a paper questionnaire. This is the place to share your praise, feedback, requests, suggestions, complaints, etc. The survey is anonymous.

Taxis can be ordered via our concierge.

Both locations are accessible by car and by bus. The bus stops are located near the main entrances (about a 200-metre walk).

Behind the reception desk, you will find the payment office where you can officially deregister and settle any outstanding debts.
