Laboratory
The hospital's central laboratory is one of the key diagnostic facilities and makes a significant contribution to modern patient care. Every day, our biomedical analysts process countless samples with the aim of providing doctors with optimal support in diagnostics, therapy planning and therapy monitoring through precise results.
The task of biomedical analysts includes the independent execution of all laboratory measurement and examination methods according to medical instructions that are necessary in the context of medical examination and treatment. The doctor who is treating you will determine which values are to be collected and evaluated as part of your medical treatment.

The work of the biomedical analysts at Tauernklinikum is characterised by state-of-the-art analysis technology, standardised processes and close cooperation with medical professionals. The analysis methods range from simple, manual procedures to highly technical automated processes, which are subject to continuous internal and external process and quality management.
Thanks to the in-house central laboratory, rapid diagnoses and efficient treatments are possible – ideally, diseases can even be prevented from the outset.
