Whistleblower system

At Tauernkliniken, we attach great importance to integrity and responsible conduct – towards our employees, patients, business partners and authorities. However, even with the best of intentions, violations can occur that call our standards into question.

What you should know

In view of the EU Directive on the protection of whistleblowers ("Whistleblower Directive"), we have set up an internal reporting system. This system enables employees and external third parties to report violations (e.g. fraud, corruption or other misconduct) confidentially – while protecting their identity.

Your report – secure and independent

For reports, we work in cooperation with the independent and neutral O.P.P.-Compliance GmbH (O.P.P.) as an ombudsman and clearing house. This ensures that your report remains organisationally separate from us – Tauernkliniken GmbH.
The ombudsman's office accepts your reports by telephone or online. All employees there are subject to legal confidentiality obligations and work independently.

Why we have this system

This reporting system serves not only to protect the company, but also, and in particular, to protect your rights and our mutual trust. It helps us to detect misconduct at an early stage, take appropriate action and minimise risks for all involved.

Your safety and protection are our top priority: your report will be treated confidentially and you will not suffer any disadvantage – regardless of whether you are an employee, patient or external person.

Thank you for joining us in our commitment to transparency, quality and trust.
