Pastoral care at Tauernklinikum
Here for you when life raises questions.
A hospital stay can set many things in motion – physically, emotionally and mentally. Illness, pain or uncertainty often raise questions that go beyond medical treatment. At times like these, it is good to have someone by your side who will listen, accompany you and provide support.
The pastoral care team at Tauernklinikum is there for patients, relatives and staff – regardless of their origin, religion or worldview. Our pastoral carers take time for conversations, shared silence, prayer or words of blessing – whatever you want and need.
We want to offer you a space where you can share your worries, draw strength and feel confidence. Pastoral care is understood as support on an equal footing – with respect, openness and mindfulness in individual personal situations.
On request, our full-time and volunteer staff will put you in touch with representatives of other faith communities. We are also there to offer sensitive support in cases of serious illness, in moments of farewell – or in the event of bereavement. On request, we can organise farewell rituals or memorial services.
The entrance to the prayer room in Zell am See is located behind the large staircase in the entrance hall and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Our prayer room in Mittersill is currently closed due to ongoing renovation work. We thank you for your understanding.
