Clinical
psychology

Illness and being ill not only affect the body, but also always have an impact on a person's mental well-being. The task of the Clinical Psychology Department at Tauernklinikum is to support you as a patient in dealing with illnesses and their consequences.

Unexpected diagnoses, stressful medical treatments, personal and family crises, or necessary lifestyle changes can all be reasons to seek clinical psychological counselling. Support is tailored to the individual needs and goals of our patients. Upon request, family members can also be counselled or included in discussions.

Support

The clinical psychology team sees its psychological work as providing attentive, helpful, gentle and considerate counselling, support and guidance during a difficult period in life. This enables us to find individual solutions and significantly improve the subjective well-being of our patients.
