About the person

In addition to his clinical work, Prim. Dr. Eigner is involved in teaching and training medical students and KPJ students in cooperation with the universities of Vienna, Graz, Innsbruck and Salzburg.

As a member of several national and international professional associations, he is committed to the continuous development of surgical care at the highest level.

His particular areas of expertise are antireflux surgery – especially the surgical treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease – as well as metabolic and bariatric surgery. He combines state-of-the-art minimally invasive techniques with patient-centred, individual care.
