A total of 53 students successfully completed their training as qualified nurses.

(Zell am See, 25 September 2024) – This year's graduation ceremony for the Tauernklinikum School of General Health and Nursing took place in a cheerful atmosphere on Friday, 20 September 2024, at the Ferry Porsche Congress Centre in Zell am See.

"We are very proud of our many successful graduates," said Managing Director Silke Göltl, MA. "Thirteen of them have secured permanent positions at the Tauernklinik hospitals in Zell am See and Mittersill and will be joining our nursing team. This once again underlines the high relevance of the training opportunities available locally and the outstanding achievements of the trainees and our dedicated teaching staff."

In the presence of Mayor Andreas Wimmreuter and numerous other guests of honour, employees of the Tauernklinikum and families and friends, the graduates of the final classes A and B were honoured in a ceremony. After 4,600 hours of intensive theoretical and practical training, they beamed as they received their diplomas. Wimmreuter offered his heartfelt congratulations and expressed his admiration for their academic achievements: "The Zell am See School of Health and Nursing guarantees high-quality nursing training in Pinzgau and provides the basis for maintaining a supply of qualified nursing staff. In cooperation with regional schools, we can offer a varied training programme and are well equipped to meet future development requirements in the nursing and care sector."

But it is not only the decision to pursue a career at the Tauernklinikum that paints a proud picture for the nursing school and its stakeholders, but above all the individual achievements of the graduates. Eleven graduates were delighted to receive a "very good" grade, while 20 received their diplomas with a "good" grade. Upon receiving their certificates, they are now authorised to use the title "qualified health and nursing professional" as their professional designation.

"Over the course of the three-year training programme, we have naturally grown very fond of all our students. We are delighted to share this important day with them and to send them out into the medical profession as highly competent and socially skilled professionals," said DGKP Maria Sonnweber MSc, interim school director, summarising the positive day.
